Joe French
Joe French is now in his 7th year at UMBC as Head Softball Coach and P.E. instructor. He has been working in college athletics, campus recreation, and physical education since the fall of 1977. With over 30 years of experience, French has run numerous summer camps and clinics in addition to his other duties in the Division I Athletic Department. His well rounded coaching expertise will enhance UMBC's newest and most diverse sports camp. Joe and his excellent staff, featuring current and former Division I athletes will provide each camper with a well diverse and rewarding camp experience. In the past Joe has coaches and directed camps at Alfred State, Mansfield University, US Naval Academy, SUNY Geneseo, and UMBC . Joe is UMBC's all time winningest softball coach and has coached 7 All Americans and numerous All Region and All Conference players.

Mike D'Archangelo
Mike D'Archangelo is now in his 7th year at UMBC. Mike plays an intricate role in day-to-day functions and all the coordinating behind-the-scenes for the UMBC Rec and P.E. Department. Mike's role stretches from managing the 130,000 sq. ft. RAC facility to dealing with all rec, intramurals, p.e., and club sports. Mike has been one of the defining factors in the UMBC Recreation/P.E. Programs' dramatic growth to one of the most successful in the Mid-Atlantic. Mike played baseball at D1-Uof MD and was on the NACB World Series All Tournament Team.
